CollapseDescription

I have completed 17 years of electronics experience in the manufacture of transformers, current sense transformers, and inductors. My duties during that period included: procurement of materials and kitting of jobs, toroidal and bobbin winding, commercial and aerospace level soldering, inspection of work at all stages using applicable equipment and documented industry standards, testing of components at all stages, encapsulation of components including both vacuum chamber and pressure chamber operation, cosmetic finishing of components, marking of components, packaging of components in accordance with industry standards, machine shop experience, maintenance and repair of equipment, writing of basic test programs, re-engineering of prototypes, evaluation of documentation for new work, technical writing of documentation and visual illustration of procedures to supplement existing documentation and training of personnel. Accomplishments In my first position, I built prototypes in the development of a new product line: Planar low-profile transformers. When our final prototype was approved for manufacture, I alone manufactured the product, which grossed $1.5 million annually for my company. Our product increased the power of Direct TV telecommunications satellites by twenty times, and dramatically increased their customer base. In my second position, I was largely responsible for the manufacture of a three phase transformer to be used in the cooling and refrigeration systems of new 787 commercial jets. In my third position, I worked on team projects until the company relocated. I relocated with the company, and was promoted to production supervisor. I trained thirty employees over fourteen months. The company relocated a second time, and I trained thirty new employees, and took on a new product line- inductors with current sense transformers. During that period I frequently collaborated with an engineer, a purchasing agent and a quality control specialist, because of the detail-oriented nature of transformers.
