Alameda County Building Maintenance Department, City of Oakland, CA 2004 - 2006 Buildings and Plant Maintenance Supervisor Responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep for 7 County of Alameda owned buildings which included the Glen Dyer Jail, City of Oakland Courthouse, City Morgue, Social Security building, County Health Department building, County Juvenile Probation Building and the 18 story City of Oakland Parking garage. Managed and led a team of 16 union trained engineers in maintaining each building's mechanical plant. San Ramon Marriott Hotel, Bishop Ranch, San Ramon, California 1989 - 2004 Director of Engineering Began as the hotel's painter and was consecutively promoted to the position of Director. Oversaw facility renovation and reconfiguration, working hands on throughout the project. Directed the development and management of the strategic plan, engineering and the ongoing maintenance of all company properties to include electrical and HVAC systems, life safety systems, building exteriors, daily janitorial maintenance, grounds maintenance, and parking facilities.
