Responsibilities
While deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I was given the task of base improvements and construction. I worked with a team of 20 personnel which consisted of 15 Iraqis and five soldiers. I coordinated with our Battalion Commander with the development, execution, and completion of projects given. I used Excel, Word, and Power Point to give presentations, budget reports, track labor, project time lines, project completion, process security checks, and our operations status. We used two fifty-ton cranes, one thirty-ton crane, one roller, two bulldozers, one grader, two front end loaders, two dump trucks, two ten-k forklifts, one excavator, and four flat bed trucks.
