• Provide assistance in recognition of all threats with special emphasis on strategic and asymmetric vulnerabilities to North America.

Provide military assistance to U.S. civil authorities, including consequence management operations in response to military support to civil authorities, military assistance for civil disturbances, and other civil support, authorized by the President or the Secretary of Defense.
