Extensive experience in design and detailing for diverse applications, including missile packaging/assembly facilities, power plants, chemical plants, material handling systems for coal and aggregate (conveyors, bents, skirts, take-ups etc), malls (new and renovated), mining operations, industrial and commercial structures (design and detail main building steel and all miscellaneous steel, also detail joist, grating, girts, decking, stair w/handrail, ladders, platforms, monorails, rebar, concrete, hip and valley roof, and knowledgeable on most codes including AISC, OSHA, SBC, IBC, AWS, COSP. Highly proficient in the use of Auto CAD and various other detailing systems to effectively manage operations. Significant expertise with mechanical and civil drawings, as well as a vast knowledge of plate work, to include hoppers, bins, silo, chutes, load out grizzlies and other geometrical configurations. Strong interpersonal skills, leadership ability, and team-building effectiveness. Demonstrated success in coordinating with engineers, management, customers, vendors, and support staff. Experienced in allocating resources and scheduling production crews to ensure multiple projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Very successful at trouble-shooting and analysis. Adept at identifying root causes of cost/schedule impediments and communicating remedial actions to all affected personnel.
