One of the main reasons that Jeff and I have been successful on every project the company entrusted to us is his ability to delve into details. In his role the IT Site Manager at FCR, he came across many changes and challenges. His ability to add a customer service feel to the IT department was a major factor in his success. I had the pleasure of working directly with Jeff during his time as IT Manager for Audio Precision. His ability to adjust to the wide range of IT issues faced when working for a small Test and Measurement company impressed me. As the Software Quality Assurance lead at Audio Precision it is my responsibility to keep the Quality Assurance lab and network running. Jeff proved to be a reliable, courteous, and flexible IT manager, who made my job much easier. Jeff's ability to understand the Software Development Life Cycle and QA's role, knowledge of IT, and keen eye for detail, often resulted in a quick resolution to the various complex problems we were faced with. He impressed me on multiple occasions with his ability to get to the bottom of an issue quickly, with minimal information. I can recount multiple occasions where Jeff stayed late, or arrived early to resolve an issue that had my team held up, be it an issue with the Software we were deploying into the lab, or the lab configuration. His willingness to go the extra mile, to ensure the people who rely on his systems can do their job was appreciated. His flexibility when configuring the relationship between the Software Quality Assurance test systems and the rest of the company IT infrastructure, exceeded my expectations for the position on multiple occasions. His through knowledge of both SDLC and IT infrastructure were a boon to my small team. Jeff ability to communicate the complexities of IT infrastructure and potential effect on the test lab and by extension the software under test, to any level of the business made him a welcome member of the team when planning expansions and changes. His flexibility in planning and process, made the Software Quality Assurance lab changes I undertook while he was managing IT, a smooth process.
