Description
Highly motivated and driven. "Make it Happen" business motto. Owned and operated a property maintenance company for ten years, which allowed me to develop the skills necessary to deal with all types of personalities and issues. Multi-tasker, people pleaser. Early exposure to the public in real estate sales and my father's medical office allowed me to fine-tune public relations skills With regards to occupational therapy, Taylor's six modes of therapy stick with me: advocate, collaborate, empathize, encourage, instruct, problem-solve. I believe an integral part of the occupational therapy process is therapeutic use of self, which allows practitioners to develop and manage their therapeutic relationship with clients by using narrative and clinical reasoning, empathy, and a client-centered, collaborative approach to service delivery. Since leaving Atlantic Physical therapy, I've been taking care of my mother in law full time. She passed away the end of October, 2018 and I'm anxious to get back into the field of OT.
