Description
I am an oil/gas/industrial professional with 12 years of experience, with the last 8 as a Health, Safety, & Environmental Professional. I entered the Safety Field because of my endless desire to see that everything possible is done to ensure that no one gets hurt. My tenure in safety has allowed me the opportunity to gain experience and successfully support a multitude of craft disciplines. (scaffold, paint, electrical, insulation, mechanical crafts including piping, crane, rigging, welding and boiler making, general labor including logistics support crafts- fire watch, hole watch, and confined space attendants). Additionally, I have served in a very diverse range of roles and functions within the safety profession (safety tech, lead safety, site safety manager, safety manager, and third-party client representative). I am pursing a long-term career opportunity, that will allow me to utilize my current talents and skills to contribute to the company's safety programs, initiatives, and overall culture. Additionally, I am working towards a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, and I plan to use the knowledge that I will gain from the education and other trainings for my perspective employer.
