CollapseDescription

temporary inpt Hospice RN temporary dialysis RN 10 years hospital case management and Utilization Review RN Employee Health RN 8 1/2 years Hospice field case management Two years med-surg RN In 2007, I was sanctioned by the State Board of Nursing because I became addicted on opiates secondary to a cervical neck injury. I diverted some morphine tablets from one of my hospice patients and was turned in to DHEC. I was charged with theft of a controlled substance but that charge was expunged. I have no arrest record or drug charge. I did continue to work as a RN during the two years of State Board probation. I ended up doing volunteer work for the SCNA and State Board of Nursing facilitating a group called PAPIN, that helps other nurses with substance abuse / addiction. I did that for 7 years. I do not have any restrictions on my compact license.
