To obtain a job as an Engineer, Mechanical CAD Designer SKILLS-Work experience * Read and interpret engineering sketches and blueprints. * Build prototype parts, test using oscilloscope, DMM, volt meter, pressure gage, variety of test fixtures. * Troubleshoot, repair, modify parts * Design, assist in design parts, tool, fixtures, also pcb circuitry from schematic * Program, set up machines * Create and modify engineering drawings using Solid Works AutoCad, Inventor, Vault (DPM) (Autodesk package) software from sketch, mark-up, calculation, and engineer instruction. * Process engineering change control process. * Use MS Excel, Word and Access software to create bill of materials, specification sheets, correspondences and update/maintain engineering databases. * Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. * General knowledge of programming, understanding, set up, and running variety of machineries: winding, SMT, CNC lathe, mill * Good oral and written communication skills. * Type 35 wpm, 10- key 160 spm * Good organizational and time management skills.
