My responsibilities included a strong focus on the Profit and Loss statement. I was able to make the Region profitable within six months. The Region had not been profitable since its inception. I accomplished this by dismantling a team of ineffective and inefficient mobile mechanics. I rebuilt and stabilized the region by selecting and hiring highly trained mechanics with strong work ethics and the ability to work independently. I enhanced the satisfaction of the current customer base through excellent and frequent communications, personal visits and ensuring the customers received a higher level of quality and timely repairs. Thompson Industrial Services, Sumter, SC Maintenance Manager May 2013 - May 2019 In May of 2013, I accepted the Maintenance Manager position at Thompson Industrial Services. My duties include maintaining equipment in 20 Division offices. Determine when to hire and equip mechanics for Divisions that have an asset count that will support mechanical staffing. I develop and evaluate vendor partners for those Divisions that do not have the asset count to justify full time mechanical staffing. Evaluate equipment performance and cost of operation. Due to Company logistics, I have set up several National Fleet Repair Networks to meet repair needs of extensive equipment movement during spring and fall outages. I create my Budget and report directly to company CFO. I work closely with Division Managers making sure their equipment needs get communicated and addressed enabling them to serve their Costumer's needs.
