Directed activities in Procurement Under contract to Pacific Aerospace Resources and Technologies responsible for procurement of inventory and material in support of Aircraft maintenance programs. Reporting to the V.P. of Operations, this role included operational control of the Purchasing, Repairs, Inventory Control, and Warehousing functions. Logistics Supply Chain and Quality Assurance functions across a multi-site global distribution organization of $80M annually. This organization provided defense contract support to Boeing C-17 program and Hill Air force Base. Responsibilities included management of the Quality Assurance program Procurement Repair and Warranty services Inventory Control and Warehousing. Oversight of four full service warehouses and Supply Chain activities in three countries reporting an overall inventory accuracy of 99% improved over a two year period from 92%. Performed a rewrite and published a new Quality Manual with a successful application earning certificate of compliance to the Aviation Suppliers Association Quality Standard ASA-100 and conformance to FAA AC 0056A. Efforts produced a 15% reduction in inventory holdings improved on time order performance by 10% and improved customer satisfaction results over a two year period through centralization and process standardization globally. (Company was sold released after sale of business and completion of all Inventory transfer transactions were complete) Transitioning from the Material Department to the IT Department successfully managed a team of managers and supervisors in the implementation a new business software system (ERP Solution) to include a complete analysis of as-is business processes and procedures for multiple business units in the development and re-design of the entire Maintenance Repair back shops storage and fueling operations to improve efficiencies. This successful project included Human Resources Finance Material Operations and Maintenance Groups. Previously as a direct report to the President was responsible for Purchasing Inventory Control Tooling Repairs and Sales of excess inventory while directing a staff of 25 persons. Maintained multiple Stockrooms and Tool Rooms and providing contractual support to the NASA 747-200 Maintenance Contacts and commercial airline customers.
