Summary Mr. Michaels has more than four decades of experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industries. He has participated in projects across the continental United States, Canada and Australia. For ten years he was Senior Cost Analyst/Estimator for the third largest Utility in the United States with over site of EPC Contractors scheduling and cost groups performing capital projects at the corporation's five nuclear units in three states. He also spent three years as a private consultant to the Utility Industry performing depreciation studies, life cycle studies, and cost control process studies. He has participated in EPC projects in the following industries telecommunications, pulp & paper, chemical, pharmaceutical, fossil power, nuclear power, oil & gas, and government. Mr. Michaels has performed nuclear plant outage schedules, refinery turnaround schedules, project EPC schedules (all phases), and numerous proposal schedules. Mr. Michaels has been doing cost related tasks since 1973. The largest project he has participated in had a total installed costs (TIC) in excess of nine billion dollars. He has also produced final project cost reports, historical cost reports and property asset reports. Mr. Michaels estimating experience includes projects in all the above referenced industries. Mr. Michaels has supervised as many as 20 employees in project controls functions.
