Designed, conducted and analyzed all experiments leading to the conclusion that the antitumor effects of this compound appeared to be mostly mediated by induction of endoplasmic reticulum stress and MCL-1 inhibition in vitro. * Wrote two postdoctoral fellowship applications using the preliminary data (not granted). * Conducted industry-sponsored project to evaluate the use of a patented endoplasmic reticulum stress - inducing agent to treat breast cancer in nude mice. 2010 - 2011 Research Assistant Professor (non-tenured track) Department of Medicine, Hem/Onc Division, University of Toledo College of Medicine, Toledo, OH.
