Description
SUMMARY Over forty years of progressive technical supervisory experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. With extensive expertise in Drilling Production along with Gas Processing Equipment. Along with proven skills in welding, mechanical trouble-shooting, and cost effective maintenance using a "safety first" approach. Acquired the basics of Windows for corporate systems increasing knowledge of operations. Reputation for honesty, problem solving and straight forward communications with internal/external co-workers. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Improved work condition by removing tank ladders and installing service platforms with stairs to improve safety at the Dibble location. Assisted mechanics in the swinging of engines and performing preventative/corrective maintenance on engines and compressors. Initiated location of leaks and repair to prevent soil contamination at Dibble to improve the recovery from the test wells. Instrumental in resolving compressor valve loses due to the horizontal tank level being to high causing liquid carry over to 1st stage cylinders at Dibble. Performed monthly computer reporting on run time, blow downs and oil usage for air quality and corporation commission/DOT-OQ regulations. Volunteer as a safety committee member for 20 years in the Goldsby area. Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting eliminating potential equipment failure, reducing costly repair expense. Initiated cost effective maintenance on fuel header system at the Moore Compressor Station for approximate savings of 10% in operating expense. Achieved and expanded knowledge of efficient operations of: hydrocarbon processing systems, amine systems, TEG Units, inlet gas compressors, propane refrigeration systems, and dehydration improving personal flexibility and productivity. Conduct performance test inspections and general maintenance, including startup/shutdown of equipment operations in compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM). Document and recorded findings appropriate which optimized performance and reliability of equipment. Obtained certification as a relief plant operator meeting all established guidelines resulting in increased flexibility with improved team performance. JAMES ALLEN ESTES ACCOMPLISHMENT Facilitated successful transition and take-over of the Barnett Station and surrounding areas in Pampa, Texas, from Williams Natural Gas decreasing down-time and maintaining production. Instrumental in improving overall production from 4 mmcf to 18 mmcf per day. Carried out cost saving changes from high to low pressure production in the Freeney and Cole fields with overall savings of approximate 30%. Lowered operating cost by 25% and increased longevity of well production by 5-7 years with installation of plunger lifts to wells and forced minimum charge rates with service companies saving money. Initiate move and setting of vacuum units on four wells which increased over all production from 30 mcf to 120 mcf on Clearbrook fields, which were previously thought to be depleted.
