QUALIFICATIONS * NICET III Certified Engineering Technician, with over 35 years' experience in the fields of Plumbing, Fire Protection, HVAC and Process Piping systems engineering design, drafting, contract administration and project management * Commercially state licensed Master Plumber, producing engineering design contract documents, from initial client contact and on-site review, site inspection and evaluation, through final construction drawings, project implementation, construction, and beneficial owner occupancy * Over 20 years AutoCad experience, from version R9 through current * Repeatedly and successfully has designed and administered several hundreds of projects on time, under budget, and with a high degree of cost and scheduling accuracy for the project at hand * Well versed in the evaluation and application of the building codes and NFPA standards as they affect the mechanical trades, as well as other trades as they may be impacted * Skilled in the production of contract documents and working drawings, experienced in the application and administration of the Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection sub-contracts: * Broad range of project experience across the spectrum in engineering design and specification, including contract administration, initial, interim and final field inspections, field commissioning, project management and construction management * Understands the clients' design and operational needs, operates proactively, translating and incorporating cost effective solutions and construction phasing into the contract documents prior to publication for bid or permitting * Places strong emphasis on coordination with other engineering disciplines and with owners, architects, and trade contractors, highly goal oriented, sets and achieves goals consistently * Strong attention to detail, diligent in the pursuit of final closure of complex design and contractual issues to best suit the project demands * Communicates clearly and effectively for inter-discipline project coordination and record documentation * Proven track record of designing and administering sub-contracts for new projects as well as renovations. Successful projects number into the hundreds, in a wide array of occupancies, to include: * Healthcare Institutional * Broadcasting Telecommunications * Data Processing Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics * Rack Storage General Storage * Hospitality, Lodging Convention Facilities * Educational Governmental & Municipal * Military Light and Heavy Industrial Occupancies * Commercial & Retail, residential and commercial mixed use occupancies * Power generation plants, including combined cycle & simple cycle, to 650 mw, 650 m dollars * Chemical and industrial plant fire protection, direct applied AFFF foam agent systems and other special hazard applications, including FM 200, Inergen Clean Agent Suppression Systems, high speed mist and direct spray application systems, and others. * Waste-water treatment plants, including a new permeating membrane filter plant as well as retrofitted an existing SBR to conventional waste water treatment, while on line, and without service interruption through to the permitting/discharge & operational stage
