At Alliance Occupational Medicine currently. Now being utilized outside the office to assess various business employees. Began as a Level 1 assessor at Kaiser Permanente where at hire, I would work with employees, setting up their desks and providing recommendations, as needed, to the Manager, as well as any other issues raised by of the staff during my time there. I was the only Physical Therapy Assistant working in this capacity at the time. Static Splint Fabrication: Fabricate custom splinting for fingers, hand wrists and elbows currently at Alliance Occupational Medicine currently. Developed the custom splinting program in the Occupational Medicine Department at San Jose Kaiser as well as provided custom splinting for the outpatient Physical Therapy Department. Results: filled a need for the department with improved patient outcome through personalized service. Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner. 90% of my daily patient schedule receive the benefit of this certification in reducing edema/bruising, facilitation of injured muscles/tendons, inhibiting muscle spasms and quick pain reduction. Certified Work Well Evaluator. Pre-employment testing for various companies and job requirements provided by the employer. Co-lead for several facility committees for Kaiser Permanente, such as: Labor Management Partnership, Attendance, Workplace Safety and Unit-Based teams working with Administration, HR along with Managers throughout the facility. During my time as a facility labor co-lead in the Partnership I worked at the regional, facility and department level on expectations. Taught classes as needed to groups of 30 or more Kaiser employees, representing labor. Significant catalyst with the transition of Santa Teresa Community Hospital to the Kaiser Permanente Hospital model. I was one of three employees at Santa Teresa Physical Therapy Department when Kaiser bought the hospital in 1979. I worked closely with the nursing and administrative staff.
