Summary of Qualifications * Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers. * Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools such as (CNC) lathes, milling machines, shapers, or deburring. * Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations using GD&T, blueprints using set-up sheets with a working knowledge of G&M-Codes. * Align and secure holding fixtures call up cutting tools, attachments, accessories (live tooling) or materials in CNC environment. * Designed and programmed machine parts from self-authored Solid Works CAD and Mastercam Software * Test valves and regulators for leaks and accurate temperature and pressure settings, using precision testing equipment, working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems, travel limits and sensor alignment. * Measure velocity, ratios, tapers, horsepower, revolutions per minute (rpm), voltage, amperage, resistance, capacitance, inductance in circuitry, to diagnose problems, using ammeters, multi-meters, tachometers, oscilloscopes, function generators and other testing devices. * Pumping systems and level sensors, flow rate calculations, digital timers and counters. * Disassemble/Reassemble repaired electric motors to specified requirements and ratings, using hand tools and test equipment. * Currently studying PLC Programming in Siemens PLC TIA Software, basic understanding of binary logic gates and PLC fundamentals. * Programming of Fanuc control pendants Experienced with building and shop maintenance, compressor maintenance, light repair and carpentry, MiG welding, oxy-acetylene, angle and surface grinding, riveting, circuit soldering, and application of paints and adhesives * Excellent training skills and personable with a wide range of personalities, backgrounds and sensitive to others needs. * High level of command of technical writing and publishing instructions, researching information from scholarly journals and industry publications.
