Work with PDE in the creation of an effective electronic review system for the evaluation of education programs throughout the state. Utilization of video conferencing with local public schools to allow for real time observation of classes and discussions with classroom teachers and administrators. Allows for students to observe from the university classroom but to see a lesson taking place in real time. Major advantage being that students have an opportunity to interact within a group before going into the field and carrying out classroom observations. Work in the formulation of a portfolio system of keeping records for students allowing for the collection of student completed requirements to be viewed in the context of the various standards for educators as they progress through the education program. Excellent process by which to keep effective track of student progress and providing students with a cumulative portfolio to utilize when completing the requirements of program.
