Recent Job Scopes / Responsibilities Primary nuclear power responsibilities involved protecting the health and safety of the public by ensuring that the nuclear security organization was properly staffed, trained, equipped, and capable of defending the station against the design basis threat of radiological sabotage. Areas of responsibility and oversight included the implementation of the Code of Federal Regulations, safety, budget (18+ million), security operations, security training, corrective action program, procedure revisions, evaluations / investigations, human performance, security projects, and regulatory inspections. Examples of project management experience included construction projects associated with NRC orders (9/11), several comprehensive 10 CFR Part 73 and Part 27 rule revisions, various significant protective strategy modifications, physical upgrades, numerous successful NRC evaluated force on force inspections, and several outages as containment coordinator (oversight of heavy lifts).
