Summary: Completed the planning, execution and closeout of a program to create a Data Warehouse to ensure all clinics and hospitals within Travis County, TX had access to patient information to ensure a high-level quality of care from physicians. I was directly managing a team of 8 engineers, testers and database administrators. Summary: Responsible for identifying, creating/designing, analyzing, and communicating all infrastructure migrations from the old various platforms to a new upgraded version. This consisted of migrations for AIX from P7 to P8, switching storage options from disk to flash array, upgrading and replacing all databases (Oracle, SQL and Postgres), all new network gear replacement, identification and integration of new management network standards with security zones, migrated application instances to new FlexPOD and VBlocks, etc. May 2014 - May 2015 Sr. IT Infrastructure Service Delivery Consultant/ Process Improvement Specialist Summary: Ensured that all requests pertaining to installation, modification and decommissioning of databases, hardware, and servers were implemented as requested. This sped up the processing of logistics, improved the load processing times and overall performance of the applications.
