Qualifications: Mr. Stafford has acquired several years of experience in a vast array of electronic, electrical, chemical and mechanical disciplines. His experience includes, but is not limited to: Quality Inspector, Weld Inspector, Electronics Technician, Electronic Counter Measures Technician, Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Human Engineering, Application Engineering, and Information Management Officer. A Wisconsin State licensed welder, an American Society of Mechanical Engineers licensed welder. He performs weld inspections in accordance with AWS and A.S.M.E. standards. Electronic Technician, Sr. Lead (July 2008 to November 2014) Duties/Responsibilities: Deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan with Computer Sciences Corporation Mr. Stafford was an Electronic Technician with the Electronic Warfare, Counter IED (CREW) program He was actively involved in installation, maintenance, repair and QA/QC ongoing and final inspections of Electronic Counter Measures (CREW) equipment and systems. He trained civilian and military personnel on installation, maintenance and operation of CREW Systems. He trained military personnel to use and maintain various CREW Systems and test equipment. He generated reports of all maintenance, installations and repairs of CREW equipment. He used CSC's MMS (Maintenance Management System) to record and document maintenance actions and installs of CREW systems. He maintained the Sensitive Items Inventory and executes the distribution of CREW equipment to military units and performs logistics duties. As a Service Technician with Thermal Tech (April 2007 to November 2007) Mr Stafford serviced and inspected (QA/QC) steam and hot water generation equipment such as water tube and fire tube boilers, deaerating tanks, variable and positive displacement pumps. He made adjustments and calibrations to boiler electronic control equipment with digital electronic diagnostic equipment. He installed boiler electronic control systems and related wiring and cabling. He repaired boiler refractory and performed boiler tube replacement. He made recommendations on efficient operation of boiler room equipment to the customer. As an Electronics Technician with ManTech Deployed in Iraq (November 2005 to March 2007) Mr. Stafford supervised and trained civilian and military personnel in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic counter measures equipment (CREW). He performed a variety of complex technical functions related to set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing and troubleshooting of electronic counter measures equipment and systems with spectrum analyzers and digital multi meters. He programmed CREW systems with Xilinx and AUT programs using Panasonic Tough books with Windows XP operating system. Mr. Stafford operated, maintained and performed preventative and corrective maintenance on plant utility equipment such as 200 HP fire tube boilers, pure steam generators, waste water treatment equipment, Carrier brand 500 ton chillers, air compressors, air dryers, environmental control systems and various medical devices manufacturing equipment. He performed electrical and electronic trouble shooting with digital multi meters. He performed adjustments to various control systems and Programmable Logic Controllers. Mr Stafford implemented and maintained the chemical treatment and analysis program for the boilers and feed water. He designed and implemented the collection system of pure water drains from the clean steam generator to use for boiler feed water thus saving the company $70,000 per year and raising the standard for the boiler feed water from softened water to pure water saving several $1000's in maintenance cost, chemical use and possible catastrophic boiler failures. He designed and installed the pure water feed system into the deaerating feed tank thus eliminating the need for the soft water feed system and costly salt usage. He modified the boilers control system to make it possible for 1 boiler to run at a time verses 2 when there is a heavy steam load demand saving the company $10,000's a year in energy cost. He designed, installed and implemented the boiler chemical injection system, saving the company $1000's on proprietary equipment costs and rentals. He installed and repaired equipment and structures using welding equipment, oxygen/acetylene torches. He designed and fabricated steel and piping systems. He donned medical type gowning to perform various maintenance tasks in Grade C, D and Pharma environments in compliance with FDA Regulations. As a Technical Sergeant with the United States Air Force Reserve (June 1992 to December 2004, Retired) Mr. Stafford removed, repaired, inspected, installed, and modified aircraft fuel systems including integral fuel and water tanks, bladder cells, and external tanks. As a Hydrostatic Tester and Welder A With Silvan Industries (June 1988 to August 1994), Mr Stafford Fabricated, tested and inspected (QC role) and welded mild steel and stainless steel pressure vessels in accordance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Department of Transportation code by use of MIG welders, Stick welders, oxygen/acetylene torch's, plasma cutters . He inspected and repaired all types of bolt and pipe threads (QC role). Mr Stafford implemented a thread repair procedure using available tooling saving the company over 50% of the man hours needed to perform that task. He inspected welds using visual and dye penetrant methods. He inspected stainless steel vessels for magnetic issues and corrected those issues. He was certified as an American Society of Mechanical Engineers welder, member of the First Aid Response team and safety committee. Mr. Stafford played a role in an advertisement video called "The Silvan Difference". As a Boiler Technician Second Class with the United States Naval Reserve (October 1986 to June 1992), Mr Stafford was assigned to the Boiler Repair shop on the USS Shenandoah and while on duty he performed boiler maintenance and repair. He performed corrective maintenance and overhaul on marine type heat exchangers including chiller units and marine type distilling plants. During weekend duty at the Reserve center he performed training of other reservist and worked extensively on projects for the area community. Mr. Stafford was unemployed from February 1988 to June 1988 due to a shipyard wide layoff. As a Pipe Fitter with Marinette Marine Corporation (March 1986 to February 1988) Mr. Stafford fabricated, installed, tested and trouble shot all types of marine piping and structural pipe hangers. He solved a major problem with a ships firefighting actuating control system that was installed incorrectly by tracing and comparing the system to the design configuration. He found several valves were of the wrong type and found several of the control piping systems were installed opposite of what was called for. Rerouted the piping and reinstalled the correct valves. Mr. Stafford welded and silver soldered piping systems. He installed marine type machinery like engines, distilling plants, gas turbines, pumps and tanks. He was a member of Marinette Marine's Quality Circle. Mr. Stafford was unemployed from November 1985 to March 1986 due to an Honorable Discharge from the United States Navy.
