COVER LETTER: Thank you for considering my enclosed resume'. My background is in petrochemical process and industrial safety. I have experience in many aspects of chemical processes, including uranium conversion (UF6). Prior to this role, I worked in pipeline operations and maintenance. I am currently working on a contract basis to help build and commission new plant startups, expansions and turnarounds. My most recent project assignments have been in project safety management. I am interested in working for industrial firms that seek excellence in its construction, safety and startup activities. My goal is to increase the safety culture and efficiency across the spectrum of my clients' and employers' workforce. I accomplish this by using established PSM procedures, Behavioral Based Safety, proper resolution protocol and personal operating experience. All of my 30-year work history includes working safely and efficiently in IDLH environments and the required safety procedures. My experience in the safe execution of construction and turnaround projects will serve your firm well from planning through startup. I am engaging and enthusiastic. You will find my safety meetings very informative and well received by all those in attendance. My message is always positive and to the point. My ability to gather cooperation through effective communication is one of my strongest assets. My post high school education includes C.O.S.S. LSU C.E., LSU EMT, Crane Management Safety and instrumentation basics. Outside studies also include ancient history. I am a lifetime resident of the Baton Rouge, La. area.
