Summary My skill sets have been honed from fifteen years as a Quality Control inspector and machinist, in a varied industry base. I am extremely skilled in blueprint and schematic reading, G.D.& T., and all manner of precision measuring equipment. I am dependable, conscientious, and meticulous in my work ethics. I feel that my leadership and skill sets would be a tremendous asset to any Quality department. Current Qualification Highlights * Supervised staff of four quality technicians in climate controlled lab. * Programmed "Peco" gear checker to review results for production runs. * Manual bench checks for 1st article inspection, heat treating/anodizing, all vendor supplied shafting, housings, pinions, and gears. * Customer lot certifications, updated inspection sheets and handle requests for deviation of same * Integral part of daily communication with customer quality concerns, and vendor related issues whether they are foreign or domestic in nature. * Improved throughput of product through the lab inspection process with the use of different time studies. * Operated and Brown & Sharp CMM's in the inspection of rough vendor castings, in-process, and final product inspection. * Supervised and performed layout plate inspection on all types of manufactured products such as gears, rough castings, in-process, and finished product. * Responsible for floor audit of all manufacturing equipment. * Directed critical tool certification testing and documentation program. * Daily audit performed on returned goods with root causes identified. * Perform complicated calculations using applicable formulas interpret difficult drawings along with working to specifications and applying control charts. * Disposition all non-conforming, returned goods, and corrective action reports.
