I currently have over 35 years working in the Oil & Gas industry which breaks out as follows: * 1998 - 2020 : 22 years doing full-spectrum project controls for various Midstream EPC firms Including Scheduling, Cost, Estimating and Change Management. My primary emphasis has been on the Planning/Scheduling but most of the positions I have held required work in all these specialties. The last few firms I worked at were largely start-ups where I developed the basic tools and procedures necessary to furnish an adequate and expandable level of controls to assist their projects. I created spreadsheets, formal procedures and conducted training for the managers, discipline leads and engineers. * 1989 - 1998 - 8 years of project controls and construction management for executing both greenfield and brownfield construction projects for various firms. Activities included Scheduling, Cost, production of Variances, Quantity Surveying and some Document Control. I was called upon in a couple of instances to perform in a supervisor role for small capital projects including the installation a 3.5 mile 10" Stainless Steel waste water pipeline from a Demin-Water plant and the refit of a small Co-Gen unit. This experience proved invaluable inn m later life at EPC firms. * 1982 - 1989 - Approx. 6 years in aggregate working on my tools as both an Electricians apprentice and an Instrument Fitters Apprentice in summer construction projects while attending university. Later working in a similar capacity doing E&I maintenance in the Exxon Chemicals facility in Baytown. * Project experience ranges from performing field installation and maintenance to supervising and performing related administrative duties including Primavera and MS Project scheduling, estimating, cost control within SAP and Kildrummy environments, document control, quantity surveying, and material control, QA/QC, instrument system definition, estimating and various administrative duties including assisting in project closeouts. * Projects have included downstream chemical facilities (polypropylene, polyethylene, Makrolon, MTBE, polyvinyl alcohol), both oil, gas & product pipelines & midstream pump/compression, storage and treatment facilities for both oil and gas. * Pipeline experience includes both supervision of field construction and production & analysis of Master schedules for engineering and construction of petroleum, natural gas and products pipelines, pump stations, compressor stations and other midstream facilities. * Extensive experience managing small teams, mentoring junior project control personnel and conducting training sessions for all project personnel in project controls procedures, operations and their individual interfaces with the process in a FEL 1-3 structure. * Specialized of late in creating full spectrum project controls for start-up engineering firms that execute EPC contracts.
