Established process to obtain quality control standards, cost controls, and gather data regarding types, quantities specifications and delivery dates. Developed and implemented operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve quality product. Revised production schedules and prioritized schedules as a result to manpower, part shortages, design issues and failure to adhere to quality specifications and FAA regulations. Responsible for consulting with design and manufacturing engineers to make modifications of design to product in order to improve production and quality of seats. Compiled and stored data in order to share with multiple production lines for smooth transitions into new seat assembly design. Duties also included training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints and resolving problems in union environment.
