COVER LETTER: Hello: I am forwarding this to you for consideration on you available opportunities as a Safety Professional or Loss Control Consultant. Although I will consider all positions, my preference would be for a part time or on-call position. Because of this goal, you would have the opportunity to hire a high-level, very experienced safety professional at a reduced price. I believe that I have the training, management, insurance, and safety consulting experience to professionally fulfill most Safety Profession position needs. I am a Certified Safety Professional and an Occupational Safety and Health Technologist (retired: 2015) I am a professional member, Emeritus, of the American Society of Safety Engineers and past member of the Albany Area Federal Safety and Health Council, and of Toastmasters International. My New York State Code 59 / 60 Safety Consultant Certifications have just been renewed. I have many years of all-lines insurance experience, with heavy emphasis on large accounts, products liability and workers compensation. My most recent client list has included some of the most diversified workers' compensation exposures in the private and public sectors. I have experience with claims management and early return-to-work programs and authored an informational booklet for my past employer on the topic. Training and human resources has always been a major component of my work, including numerous newsletters, publications, and customized training presentations. I have also provided considerable training on motivation, behavior management and communications skills for all levels of management. I have developed a history of accomplishing successful turn-arounds when others have failed. I believe that my down-to-earth, hands-on business approach along with my background in motivation, innovation, and communication skills have played a major role in these successes.
