SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS * Auditing of physicians medical records documentation, including coding, and quality areas that impacts all service lines, including Anesthesia, Emergency Department, Radiology, Oncology, Neurology and Office Based Practices. * Knowledge of ICD-10 through AAPC workshops, HCPCS and CPT coding under CMS guidelines. Advanced medical terminology and anatomy skills, including PQRS Guidelines. * Projects including New Acquisition, Anesthesia Coding, Coder monitoring for accuracy and Compliance Auditing in multi specialties. * MRA coding and HEDIS Measurements. * Compiled Financial Impact spreadsheet for Anesthesia, Emergency Department, Radiology, Oncology, Neurology and Office Based Practices. Using CMS guidelines. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Inter-office organization skills with regard to the different specialties . * Ability to meet multiple deadlines with production and quality compliance coding, by abstracting documentation from EHR / Multi record Systems. * Knowledge of 2017 PQRS Program Coding sets with Medicare EHR incentives, along with ICD-10 Guidelines for multi coding sets. * Responsible for training new associates with Office Based Coding and E/M procedures along with hospital procedure and Medical Record Computer systems. Also software including but not limited Lotus Notes, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Word and Access Databases along with other office systems.
