PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY I have been fortunate to have a diverse career in the financial services industry. About 15 years ago, I discovered my passion for design and décor. I worked for a short time for a manufactured housing dealer, and part-time for The Gallery at Sam Levitz, just for fun. Mostly I have helped my friends and family with their homes, as well as my own. As time has passed, I find that my passion has increased. I have the ability "to see" the vision or imagine what a design or piece of furniture will look like in a space. I also have great color memory. I believe that these are two natural abilities that can't be earned with a degree. The skills that I have utilized in my career will be applicable in this new career. Excellent customer service with a diverse clientele, sales skills, understanding budgets and upselling, the ability to profile a client and find out what they want and match the appropriate items to their wants, after satisfying their needs. I present a professional appearance yet showcase my knowledge and enthusiasm for the project. I believe that I can achieve my employer's respect and the respect of my clients and peers, if I am given an opportunity.
