All information is in place and has already started showing improvement. Comments by Chris J CUNNINGHAM: of the four standards, three are effectively in place (receiving, stocking and cycle counting). The issuing and management of parts needs some revision. Miller Road was reorganized first, then Hardy. 5S audits are completed and warehouses are still in order. During the process I spent a lot of time between both facilities. At the conclusion of this project I remained in charge of both maintenance warehouses as the leader of the area and the process. Comments by Chris J CUNNINGHAM: Keith well exceeded this expectation and did so with a challenged resource availability. He ended the year with 5S and cycle count audits fully in place. All of these items have reduced the safety risk of working and walking around the warehouse areas. Comments by Chris J CUNNINGHAM: Keith worked to assess use of mobile equipment and storage equipment (racks) that led to several actions to improve warehouse management safety (backs on pallet racks, pathways cleared and labeled for forklifts, storage for items, access to area by maintenance people and receiving and shipping practices and standards. However the leadership has not yet, at the time of this report, hired a replacement. So in the meantime, Norma Ruiz has been fully trained on the practices listed in this objective and will be prepared to train the replacement as soon as he/she is on board. Comments by Chris J CUNNINGHAM: Keith was fully prepared to train his replacement but due to the delay in acquiring his replacement by management, he was only able to train his replacement for 2 weeks but did so with great success. Comments on overall objectives achievement: In summary I feel that I have completed all of my objectives with limited resources from outside. Manager's comment Keith over exceeded his objectives for the 2016 year. Achievement for second position (in case of job move during the year)
