Description
My career at General motor and Hughes Aircraft Company has been mostly involved in Industrial Research Development. I have independently carried projects from the concept to the functional prototype stage. I have done component installation on multiplayer PWBs and breadboards with emphasis on miniaturized surface mount components. Many of these projects required the solution of unique electro-mechanical thermal issues. Among other duties I've assemble fabricate and test various electronics boards using schematics engineering drawing or sketches. I have broad knowledge of Mil -SPEC Soldering wire harness setting up test stations programming PAL and PROMS via Unisite Programming System I've worked using a Microscope plus I have knowledge usage of many crimp tools. Also as a technician I was responsible for testing PEB (Power electronic Bays) Used on the EV1 electric vehicle. Test was done from unit level to individual component. Each unit send for repaired was individually logged on the computer system for future refrence and record keeping. I was responsible for assembling and disassemble the Hitachi Power inverter units for GM in Torrance production service lab using computer aide work instructions. In Pontiac Michigan I've tested electric motors build cables test boxes cable harness plus supported the Engineering lab as needed.
