COVER LETTER: To Whom This May Concern: Please allow me to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Rachel Saddlemire. I am a Physical Therapist Assistant with 9 years of experience in various settings including hospitals, out-patient Orthopedics, in-patient rehab, stroke, acute, ILF/ALF/SNF and cognitive care facilities. I am experienced with Kinesio taping, manual mobilizations, modalities such as cryo and hot packs, short wave diathermy for pain and wound care, electric stimulation for pain and muscle training, and ultrasound. I am well experienced with manual therapeutic massage, edema massage, scar massage, and mobs of limbs and spine. I truly enjoy my job as a clinician because I genuinely like helping others. There is great joy that I feel when I am able to help someone walk that has not in quite some time, or help to ease chronic pain that debilitates another. I have great rapport with the patients, and it is very important to me to build a trust with those I work with because I feel this is not only the staple of a good therapist but also how to achieve great things in therapy. I have had a great journey in my career thus far and am ready to embark on the next learning experience!
