SUMMARY Twenty-eight years of successful custom material handling automation experience. Responsibilities included project management, engineering, design, machine start-up, debugging, installations and various management responsibilities for automotive and appliance manufacturers. SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS * Managed and participated in all aspects of daily operations for companies providing custom equipment. These operations included proposal development, estimating, machine engineering and design, design department supervision, project/contract management, equipment installations, and equipment maintenance programs. * Founded a custom automation design company and co-founded an automated truck/container loading/shipping system provider company. * Specified and purchased equipment for integration into turnkey manufacturing systems. * Led in the development of the Atlas Die Change System used today by many automotive and appliance manufacturers. * Developed several standard automation devices currently being used for material handling.
