Summary: * Extensive experience in setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments, including fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments by applying the knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. * Strong experience in ooperating CNC machinery, Turning Centers, Blue print reading, driving Forklift through the plant. * Experienced in ensuring safe operation, including same day notification of the Maintenance Team of the need for preventative and/or corrective maintenance. * Well versed in iidentifying the right castings and tubes for each production run, including the immediate notification of my supervisor of any faulty material adhering to the daily production schedule. * Good experience in inspecting piston rings to proper dimensions and tolerances.
