Results included an annual reduction of 840 tons of waste to the landfill placing Carrier ahead of schedule in compliance with the upcoming Mecklenburg County mandated recycling requirements. * Within 13 days coordinated an accelerated start-up of the EPD Battery Facility in Tianjin, China. Oversaw the setup of 5 production lines manufacturing 3 quality-accepted products in what was an empty facility. * First Building Services person on-site of the 1.6 M sq. ft. Responsible for daily input and interface in the base building, tenant buildout, start-up and acceptance of equipment, and turnover. * Managed an Operating/Start-up budget of $10+M for two Motorola CSS facilities in Harvard, Illinois. Responsible for Sole Facility/Building Service person that was responsible for safe and economical operation and maintenance of a 343,000-sqft facility using outside contractors. Simultaneously, I assisted in the implementation of ISO 9001 system. * Collaborated on the design and implementation of all major building mechanical and electrical systems. * Negotiated, supervised and coordinated the outside contractors responsible for Security, HVAC support, electrical, mechanical piping, general maintenance, janitorial, lawn care, exterminating negotiate service contracts on elevators, boilers, air compressors, electrical distribution and fire/security systems. 1.2 million square feet facility and for engineering and the management of construction projects manufacturing layouts office space and company liaison. I performed all duties to strict Six Sigma Standards. Responsible for the safe and economical operation and maintenance of three facilities an operating budget of $1.7 million and the supervision of vendors and outside contractors. Responsible for operation and maintenance of two buildings (1.7 million square feet) the Building Services team a staff of 26 and for the supervision and coordination of vendor/contractor activity.
