I am also internationally trained in Japanese lean-production methods for maximum line productivity and quality. Throughout my career, I have engineered many successful launches of new plant start-ups and Lean transformations and assembly line operations for Terex, BMW, Toyota and Volkswagen. My expertise in strategic planning, operations, global expansion, business process and strategy development has delivered results and crucial dividends for all of my employers through these engagements. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS TEREX CRANES -Vice President/ General Manager, North America Cranes - Responsible for turning a loss revenue division into the most profitable business unit within the Cranes Division and implemented an organization that is now considered a Center of Excellence within the global Terex organization. RWD - As President of the Manufacturing Performance Solutions Division, I increased revenue by 20% in less than two years by diversifying into new market segments while reducing operational costs by $10M. This included the management of 250 employees, and development of the Standardized Lean Transformation Model that has been implemented within numerous industries and production systems. BMW - New Plant Start up management team in South Carolina and the BMW X 5 and plant expansion. Managed 1,100 employees, including engineering, manufacturing, shipping operations, and new model preparation for Body Weld and Assembly operations. Toyota - As the Plant Manager for the Body Weld Division, I directed and managed all functions within an 88% automated, two-shift plant operation that produced 400,000 new units annually with 450 employees. Through my efforts and those of the teams I lead, our plant received the prestigious JD Powers Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. Volkswagen - As acting General Production Supervisor, I supervised six production supervisors and 142 UAW hourly employees.
