Summary of Accomplishments Aera Energy, Belridge -2014-2017for Sturgeon Services International. I was the Area Manager overseeing 40 to100 people. Working with civil to develop right of ways and set supports. I oversaw all Welding and construction of pipelines. I was responsible for ordering and receiving all materials, setting a schedule, maintaining it and controlling estimating and Quality control requirements. Site Manager, Total Western incorporated, 2010 - 2013 ALON U.S.A., Bakersfield, California I was the site manager overseeing 15-100 personnel working in several departments which include: weed abatement & lawn service, air conditioning and heating plant wide, janitorial services, plumbing services, concrete construction, rotating equipment, unit maintenance crews for areas 1, 2, & 3, capitol project groups, air shop, auto shop, administrative staff, warehouse & procurement, environmental and the hazardous waste group. I am responsible for maintaining a safe work environment daily and making sure that all safety and PPE requirements are met and all departments run smoothly. My group has maintained a safe work place for three years without incident. Bakersfield Refinery SCR Project-2007 I was responsible for the safety coordination and management of this project. This project required the set up of four different job sites to run simultaneously. Each site required over excavation and re compact with documentation. I was responsible overseeing the following tasks of each of these job sites: drill and set concrete caissons, equipment pads, support foundations, structured steel erection and welding, setting of equipment, epoxy grouting of rotating equipment, fabrication and install of all piping, carbon and stainless steel piping, ammonia skids, pumps and containment, and installation of instrument air and tubing. I worked closely with the electrical and instrumentation contractors, operations and refinery management. In addition, I coordinated all aspects of inspections, job and cost tracking. I participated and conducted daily update meetings and daily safety meetings with refinery management, refinery contractors and safety. This was a four and a half million dollar project brought in on time and without incident. TCC/ Fluid Coker Demolition-2006 I was responsible for the safety and supervision of the Total Western Inc. portion of this project. I assisted in the coordination of safety plans and lift plans and conducted and participated in morning safety and lift plan meetings prior to each lift. I worked with engineering on the fabrication of the lifting eyes, materials, and attachment points. I expedited materials and provided welding procedures. I was responsible for overseeing lead paint removal, asbestos removal, fire proofing removal, scaffolding requirements, setting up "meet and greet" at each job site, ordered equipment, created daily man power reports, conducted on site tail gate safety meetings, and made sure all PPE requirements were met as per task. TWI completed this job on time, within budget, and incident free. Kern Oil Refinery Tank Farm and Unit Fire Water System-2005 Site Supervisor- My duties included overseeing and maintaining safe work practices, conducted daily tailgate safety meetings, and performed and participated in safety audits. I managed the tasks for this job which included trenching and shoring throughout the plant and tank farm, oversee third party equipment contractors, road bore across Weedpatch Highway, fab and install of entire fire water piping, coat, wrap, and jeep entire system, managed weld mapping, conducted all phases of concrete construction, set of new fire water pump, API 650 Tank repairs and tie ins, installation of monitor and test system, and maintained excellent client relationship. This job was completed on time, within budget, and without incident. Prior to working in the construction field of oil and refinery work I worked for 7 years for B K Construction as a foreman in the underground development division.
