Lead, NavPhiBase Little Creek, Norfolk, VA Planned, trained, scheduled and managed 108 Security/Ordnance military personnel and 48 civilian personnel. By implementing the required training, all personnel were Qualified and Certified in accordance with OPNAVINSTRUCTION 5530 within a 3-month period, which improved their productivity. As Ordnance Division Officer, served as Ammunition Material Officer, trained and managed 27 personnel in handling, storage, inspection, preservation, preparation, breakdown, and stock maintenance of ammunition. Achieved significant improvements in their productivity as evidenced by the Ordnance Handling Safety Assistance Team (OHSAT) assessment and receiving an Outstanding during the Explosives Safety Inspection. Restructured and improved the Explosive Ordnance Safety Program and the Qualification/Certification Program in accordance with NAVSEA OP 4/5 Ammunition and Safety Afloat/Ashore. Created and implemented Combat Systems Training Scenarios that covered Anti-Surface Warfare (ASW) Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) Navy Gunfire Support (NGFS) and Anti-Submariner Warfare (ASUW). Performed the duties as the Combat System Training Team Coordinator training watch teams to operate in multi-threat multi-warfare environment ensuring all combat systems watch stations are properly manned. Performed the duties as Strike Officer during Strike Warfare (STW). Ensured the preparation of watch team to support various Type Command (TYCOMS) Carrier Strike Groups (CSG) training scenarios. Qualified as Combat Information Command (CIC) Watch Officer. Managed a staff of 11 instructors. Supervised the revision of the AN/SPS-48C (DDC) 3D Search Radar Maintenance Course. Instructor for the New Threat Upgrade (NTU) Terrier/Extended Range (ER)/Tartar Surface Combat Ship's overall system operation to shipboard Fire Control Officers (FCO) Battery Control Officers (BCO) Combat System Officers (CSO) Executive Officers (XO) and Commanding Officers (CO). Supervised the Curriculum Development Team for the AN/SPS-48C (DDC) Radar Course.. Alcohol and Drug Abuse for Managers/Supervisors Facilitator. Human Relation Council member. Responsible for coordination with NAVFAC personnel on classroom and labs required power Air condition and Heat issues. Promoted to Chief Warrant Officer. Supervised and managed a 36 man division. Assisted the System Test Officer (STO) in coordinating and implementing all Combat System Training Team scenarios that covered Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) Anti-Surface Warfare (ASUW). Trained and qualified 14 sailors as Weapons Engagement Control (WEC) console operators and Missile Engagement Control (MEC) console operators for New Threat Upgrade (NTU) Terrier Extended Range (ER) systems. Supervised all facets of the New Threat Upgrade conversion and preparation for several missile firing during all the ship's qualification track Including systems testing casualty identification and system repair.
