Accomplishments: * Initiated the "Associate Appreciation Program" which acknowledges associate acts of service and promotes employee safety, on a peer-to-peer level. Matthew J. Zambrano * Spearheaded and maintained the "New Associate Coach Program" - Increased retention by identifying and mentoring key existing associates to take ownership of the responsibilities to engage and train new hires on The Home Depot culture and SOPs through the new hire's onboarding process. * Named Leader of the Month 6/2013, 7/2013, and 7/2014. * Numerous direct hires and coaches have been recognized as Associate of the Month, as well as becoming New Associate Coaches. * Named an SOPA Ranger having created the concept of SOP flash cards that were designed to be given to each associate, which could also be worn on their aprons. This resulted in a 97% SOP assessment for the 2016 audit, the highest score in the 8 years of existence. * Trained the leadership of a 3PL being brought in to take over the pallet build operation.
