COVER LETTER: Dear Mrs/Mr: I am writing to apply for position in your company. As a senior postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Arlington until August 31, 2017, I am very interested in this position. As you can see from my attached resume, I have 10 years of academic and 2 years of industrial experiences (Haimen Wisdom Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd) in the synthesis and purification of air- sensitive organometallic compounds. After graduating with Master Degree in organic synthesis from Nankai University, I went to Haimen Wisdom Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, and worked as Research and Development Chemist where my major work focused on multiple chemical synthesis from lab scale production (5 kg) to process optimization for the manufacturing of organic intermediate (3R, 4R)-4-(4-hydroxyphenyl) piperidin-3-ol (Cas No: 783291-76-9) (22 - 50 kg). From this project, I developed all knowledge of manufacturing for organometallic product (PhLi, 100-1000L scale-up). My efforts yielded success in the manufacturing of 40 kg high purity (>99%) and ee (>99.5%) (3R, 4R)-4-(4-hydroxyphenyl) piperidin-3-ol. By the end of my project, I returned to University and studied for my PhD degree in inorganic and organometallic chemistry and followed by postdoctoral research associate until now.
