I have two years of vocational welding school training in which I have certificates of completion. I have 17 years of production welding experience including steel, aluminum, and stainless MIG and TIG. From sheet metal to as much as 1 inch plate. I use plasma cutters and oxy-acetylene torches. I have used carbon arc and have vast experience with stick welding and pipe welding. I read and interpret blue prints. I work closely with engineering and tool and die departments to assist in making tools and fixtures. I have completed courses in programming and operations of robotic welders. I am an active member of our safety committee and have been for 3 years. I am regularly trained as a first responder, including fire fighting training and C.P.R. Vaccinations are current. I have invaluable experience in management and I am often called on to fill-in for my supervisor.
