D mechanical engineer with 40 years of experience in the design, troubleshooting, installation, operation, and control of rotating equipment including compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines and pumps. Primary experience has been in improving the performance of gas compressors and related systems for major oil and gas companies, world-wide. Delivering exceptional value and customer satisfaction through the application of the following qualifications: * 35 + years experience in Gas compression, gas processing, LNG, . Refining, Petrochimical, * gas refrigeration for onshore and offshore large size plants. * Pre-FEED, FEED, Detail design and PMC for Mega projects for oil and gas. * Professional Engineer for Rotating equipment such as pig pumps, gas/steam turbines gear boxes and large capacity compressors packages, and their local and remote control systems applied in oil and Gas fields and, power generation. * Hands on AutoCad and Hysys software, and MS office Word, Excel Power point, Ladder programing * Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of production management for gas plants and manufacturing plants * Engineering design, Procurement and Construction of Rotating equipment for Mega projects such as: * RDP Refinery on shore in Ecuador, management of SK Korian EPC design and documents * Juniper production platform owned by BP at Trinidad preparation of specifications, data sheets and requisitions. * Hebron off shore plant owned by EXXON at Canada preparation of specifications, data sheets and requisitions, bids evaluation * Celanese refinery project owned by Celanese Company, review the details documents and drawing to assure the integrity of the systems, such as piping, control systems, plant layout foundation, power supply, and utility air system, assure shipping according to the project schedule. * Several years (22 years) of experience working for major/Large compressor and turbine (Gas Turbines and aero-derivative gas turbine) In several types such as and not limited: GE, LM2500 and Frame 5), Rolls Royce (Avon and RB-211), Solar (Mars 90 and Saturn H) and SULZER S-3, used for Gas left, Gas injection and Power Generation. * Demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose and improve gas compressor system performance. * Highly capable at problem diagnostics, trouble-shooting, root cause failure analysis, engineering solutions and field service support. * Excellent experience in control systems, PLC's, anti-surge systems, lubrication systems, seal systems and all compressor related systems. * Knowledgeable of design standards and codes for rotating equipment and API * Demonstrated capability in developing complete mechanical systems. * Multi language (English, Spanish and Arabic) with high communication skills with different cultures * Teaching and training skills for rotating equipment thermodynamics and control systems. * Professional in Thermodynamic analysis of Integrated Combined Cycle, compressors and steam turbines * Construction support and field engineering problem solving. Reviewed Marlin Compressor Perform external review for the upgrade of Marlin compressor project Gulf of Mexico this review included the piping system, inter and after coolers, knock out vessels, valves and anti -surge control system. This study was performed to assure the safe compressor operation and the vent system for off shore plant PDVSA - RDP Project Lead of Rotating Equipment for RDP project. Reviewed the engineering work for SK rotating equipment data sheets and specification for about 35 units. Perform study to replace large motors by steam turbine for large Compressors. Review the Engineering of Pipe line. Work was performed at Houston TX, Linde office in Germany and AZUL company in Caracas Venezuela EXXON - Hebron Project Prepared the specifications, data sheets, requisitions and bed evaluation table for low pressure injection gas compressors and ANSI pumps.
