This company serves and caters the affairs for large organizations such as the National Negro Women, The Black Caucus and other large Agencies in the wider Metropolitan area offering food and banquet services for well-known celebrities and government officials The Healing Well Support Worker- I worked directly with low to no income families and individuals in need connecting them to benefits transporting them when the need arises and offering support when they are in crisis. I also worked with other agencies to find resources support and offered life and coping skills training (writing a check making and keeping doctor's appointments becoming or remaining medication compliant explaining what the diagnosis given means for them and the importance of following the physicians recommendations escorting them to and from those appointment as support while also training the client on ways to acquire public transportation from the Metro train Medicaid transportation van or simply learning to catch the bus for appointments going shopping for groceries clothing or personal needs or even opening banking and saving accounts etc. Offered a better position and was recommended for the community support position as a spring board for career growth
