Contract/Perm Supporting 500+ local users and 400+ remote users. Sole IT person supporting 40 users on a server 2003/2008 and windows 7 and 8 environment. Responsibilities include installing and configuring new and existing desktop/laptops and resolve daily tickets via Jira ticketing system. AD administration and network permissions, support and administrator of Exchange, Outlook and Gmail platforms. Performing server hardware/software maintenance/upgrades, maintain disaster recovery operations, backups, restorations and media offsite storage. Maintaining SOP and work instructions documentation to reflect current procedures. Administration of Master Control Document Management System. Troubleshooting network servers, client systems, printers, faxes, medical digitizer scanners, VIOP, cell phones, door security and badge systems. Implementing and maintaining network security, disk arrays, client encryption security, disk duplication, CiscoVPN and virtualization (VMware, Citrix). Responsibilities included installing and configuring new desktops laptops network users exchange users as well as performing maintenance updates upgrades to existing company systems. Troubleshooting networking servers desktops software and printer issues. Maintain daily backups and perform restorations as needed. Maintain disaster recovery operations.
