SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: MANAGEMENT : * Supervises and leads 10-20 coworkers * Review and coordinate work schedules * Prioritize overall departmental work * Review, recommend and monitor divisional programs (quality assurance, training, safety, etc.) * Plan, direct, organize, schedule, and evaluate training programs to include emergency action plans * Assist, review, recommend, and monitor the implementation of policy statements, operational orders, and directives. * Prepare and deliver written and oral operational and situational reports * Perform quality control (QC) analysis * Prepare and review Naval instructions, and messages * Provide guidance for on-the - job (OJT) performance * Identify and mediate interdepartmental differences * Advise on capabilities, limitations, and condition of equipment * Implement production control procedures including input/output quality control support * Implement and monitor security procedures * Performs network management and maintenance functions including inventory control of computer assets, software and configuration management, user training, and help desk management. * Identifies potential risks, monitors activity, secures network environments, and enforces security policies and procedures. * Develop information systems security policies and evaluate information systems security incidents RADIOMAN * Perform spectrum management within an area of responsibility * Operates and performs system monitoring, fault isolation and circuit restoration of communications suites within the HF, UHF, SHF, and EHF frequency spectrums. * Set up and monitor Automated Digital Network Systems (ADNS) * Establish, monitor, and maintain Radio Frequency (RF) communications systems * Implement communications plans * Execute information transfer with state-of- the-art multi-media technology such as fiber optics, digital microwave radios, and tactical and commercial satellites on a global basis. * Apply diagnostic and restoral techniques utilizing knowledge of electronic and operational system theory * Maintains signal quality through the use of test equipment to determine point of signal distortion and identifies preventive or corrective action as required. * Prepares and maintains all necessary circuit, watch to watch, operational and administrative logs, and ensures accountability of cryptographic publications and associated materials. COMSEC * Ensure the proper security, distribution, handling, accounting, reporting, and control of Communications Security (COMSEC) materials, systems, and equipment. * Administer deployed cryptologic tactical systems set up cryptographic equipment and networks * Maintain electronic key management system (EKMS) databases COMPUTERS * Administers and secures commercial network operating systems within the functional areas of configuration, systems, and performance management.
