To pursue and accompiish the objectives of a firm/company by utilizing my skili set as an administrator, manager, negotiator, litigator, and marketer. ADMINISTRATORINIANAGER Since my appointment in 2015 by the Mayor and City Council of Irving, Texas I serve as a Director and Finance Committee member of the Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District responsible for managing and maintaining a significant portion of the Las Colinas area which includes the Urban Center and Water Street developments. I am coordinating on behalf of DCURD to finalize extension of the Tax increment Finance District No. 1 to ensure funding for future projects along the Trinity River watershed. I recently completed the restructuring of our debt of nearly a quarter of a biliion doiiars which permitted satisfying the pay-off a year early, lowering the tax assessment in the District, and saving tax payers millions of dollars. I oversee an annual budget of over thirty million dollars, review employee contracts, muitiple easement documents and act as a direct liaison to local government entities to ensure the success of our projects. IRVING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION During the period from 2009 - 2015 I was appointed by the Mayor and City Council to the P & Z and was elected to serve as Secretary, Vice Chairman, and Chairman. I was also selected to senre on the City's Planning and Development Committee which met directly with the Mayor, Council members, City Manager, Building inspectors, City Engineers and interested developers to coordinate the City's future growth. During my six years on the P & Z I reviewed and recommended approval or denial of every real estate development in the City in that time frame. As a Graduate of the irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2014 1 completed an eight month program of immersion in ail aspects of public and private community involvement. REAL ESTATEIGENERAL COUNSELITRANSACTIONAL I served as Zoning Administrator for the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission while attending the University of Tulsa Coilege of Law and upon graduation joined the real estate deveiopment law practice of my mentor, Louis Levy, Esq. As his Associate then as General Counsel of a multi-faceted real estate development company I litigated condemnation cases, drafted financial documents for real estate financing and development, negotiated sales and purchases of large properties involving complicated banking/funding contracts including securities transactions, attended board meetings and maintained the corporation records assuring compliance with all federal, state, and local Iaws and ordinances pertaining to hundreds of employees of all corporate entities and appeared before governmental bodies regarding the rezoning and development of our properties in Texas and Oklahoma. l have drafted complete restrictive covenants and by-laws for condominium projects and for several home owners associations. As General Counsel to the Wagoner County (Oklahoma) Planning Commission l ensured compliance with open meeting laws and drafted ordinances to rezone the county for its orderly development. This position included appearing before governmental bodies on behalf ofthe commission and maintaining contact with state iegislators to assure the enactment of statutes necessary to perpetuate the Commission and its purposes. As Associate Counsel for two Tulsa, Oklahoma hospitals l drafted compliance/accreditation documents, attended board meetings of both hospitals and their medical staffs, drafted and maintained corporate records, prepared, tiled and maintained the corporate records of a charity golf tournament associated with the fundraising of one entity, assured compliance with all rules and regulations as to l\/ledicarellvledicaid reimbursement, and prepared guidelines as to all aspects of risk management for the boards and ail medical staff. TRIALILITIGATIONIFIRM MANAGEMENT Extensive representation of individuals and small businesses in areas of contract disputes, contested probate matters and all aspects of family law. Twenty plus years of experience satisfactorily resolving severai hundred personal injury claims involving vehicle wrecks, workers compensation, products liability, and pharmaceutical negligence with participation in motion hearings, depositions, july and non~jury trials including achieving favorable appellate decisions. First chairjury trials in wrongful death truckfauto collisions and complex medical malpractice cases regarding catastrophic perinatal brain damage, cosmetic surgery, and botched abdominal surgery cases. Mass tort multi-district litigation group participation resulting in obtaining compensation for hundreds of breast implant, diet drug, and metal on metal hip implant victims including a wrongful death settlement for a primary pulmonary hypertension diet drug victim. For a decade l served as managing partner of the Tannehill and Lamb Law Firm with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Dallas. I hired and supervised associates, paralegals and other support staff, was responsible for paying all bills and indexed all cases in an "Ongoing Client File" which i maintained daily to move cases to fruition. l interviewed most, if not all, prospective clients and maintained telephone or mail status contact with them. The firm concentrated on vehicular collisions, medical malpractice and workers compensation. Licensed in Texas and Oklahoma, all federal courts in Oklahoma, the Eastern and Northern federal courts in Texas, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Courts of the U.S. and the Pawnee Nation. 2 MARKETING o Purchased time buys, scripted, developed and appeared in television commercials in Texas and Oklahoma seeking mass tort clients with the following results: o Three month, $50,000 campaign brought in settlements exceeding $7,000,000 o Four month, $46,000 campaign resulted in settlements exceeding $15,500,000
