Summary: I was a firefighter for eighteen years and during this time got into the F & B industry initially working as a part time bartender. I have been fortunate to work in every position in a restaurant and understand the business from the bottom up. I am a detail-oriented, customer-service focused manager of people who achieves positive results for my guests and employers. After leaving the Fire Service, I have been fortunate to lead, direct and manage several different type food establishments over the course of the last 16 years. I have also opened five restaurants from the construction phase. I have been successful in fine dining, casual dining, country clubs, golf clubs, and fast casual venues. Positions held have been those of a service manager, bar manager, service director, banquet manager, opening manager and for the last twelve years as a General Manager. I have a true passion for this business and enjoy helping others to achieve their goals while I produce positive results for my employer through building sales and managing costs.
