Summary of Qualifications: Mechanical designer with 30 years of experience in a variety of industries including Orthopedic, Aerospace, and Oil Drilling Equipment. 17 years SolidWorks experience, including 7 years of Pro-E. Skilled with engineering design and development of specialized instruments to support spinal fusion products. Current Experience: Familiarity with Geometric tolerancing & dimensioning. * Write test protocols, carry out product testing to verify/validate product safety. * Identify/design QC control gages and other fabrication related hardware for project parts. * Work w/suppliers to ensure products are cost effectively designed for manufacturability. * Practical experience w/metallic & non-metallic materials full understanding of material properties.
