Summary Senior R&D manager with over 25 years of experience directing research groups within academic, small entrepreneurial biotechnology, and large pharmaceutical company environments for development of both diagnostic and therapeutic products in autoimmunity, inflammation, transplantation, cancer, and infectious disease. Preclinical drug development experience includes both early stage biologics and small molecule candidates. Technical expertise focused in the area of molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, human genetics, cellular and molecular immunology and immunotherapy. Experience managing intellectual property, evaluating patents and licensing opportunities, and coordinating external R&D collaborations, CROs, and technology transfers.
