Summary * Over six years of intensive experience in all the phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) as senior QA analyst/Tester using manual and automated testing tools such as Quick Test Professional (QTP/UFT) * Expertise in preparing master test plan, test cases and test scripts on the basis of business requirement documents (BRD) and software requirement specifications (SRS). * Intensive experience in test execution, defect logging and defect tracking process. * In-depth experience with all the modules of Quality Center (QC) and Application life Cycle Management (ALM) including Requirement, Test plan, Test lab and Defect module. * Expertise in SQL database testing using Oracle and MySQL. * Intensive experience with different types of testing including Functional testing, Regression testing, Web based testing, System testing, GUI testing and Back-end testing. * Experience in testing on multiple browser and operating systems - IE, Chrome, Firefox, Windows 7 and XP, 2000, and Linux. * Familiar with various SDLC models like Waterfall, Incremental, Agile (Scrum, ) and V-Model. * Proficiency in Test analysis, Bug detection, Defect isolation and Report generation. * Worked very closely with cross functional teams including business analysts, developers and project managers. * A team player, self-starter and very good at learning new tools and techniques. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Extensive time management and problem solving skills. * Experienced Involved Work Item Review Meeting. * Planned, developed, and participated in kick off and go/no-go meetings. * Strong aptitude towards learning new technologies/sharing ideas. * Quick to adapt to new working environment and learn new technologies in short span.
